Bread Dough
Make delicious homemade dough with crispy fried onions.
The best dough is homemade, of course, with crispy fried onions.
Ingredients
- 500g flour
- 7g dry yeast (1 packet)
- 325ml warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 50g crispy fried onions
Preparation
- Mix the dry yeast and sugar with warm water in a bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
- Place the flour and salt in a large bowl.
- Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix the ingredients with a wooden spoon or your hands until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- While kneading, add the crispy fried onions and ensure they are evenly distributed.
- Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a lightly greased bowl. Cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until it doubles in size, about 1-1.5 hours.
- Punch down the dough to release the air.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
