The best burger is homemade and, of course, garnished with crispy fried onions.
Ingredients
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 beef patties
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1 handful of lamb’s lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 pickles, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 2-3 jalapeños, thinly sliced
- 200g crispy fried onions
Preparation
- Slice the tomato, pickles, and jalapeños into thin slices.
- Slice the onion into rings and set aside.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the bacon slices until crispy, then drain on a paper towel.
- In the same pan, sauté the onion rings until soft and golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Heat another pan and cook the hamburger patties for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to let it melt.
- Slice the hamburger buns in half and lightly toast them in a pan or under the grill until golden brown.
- Place a handful of lettuce on the bottom half of the bun.
- Add the sliced tomato and pickles on top of the lettuce.
- Place the cheesy burger patty on top.
- Add a slice of crispy bacon, the caramelized onions, and sliced jalapeños.
- Sprinkle with crispy fried onions for extra crunch.
- Finish by placing the top bun on the burger.
Taste and enjoy!
