Hamburger

Make 4 delicious hamburgers topped with crispy fried onions.

The best burger is homemade and, of course, garnished with crispy fried onions.

Ingredients

  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 beef patties
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 handful of lamb’s lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 4 pickles, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced into rings
  • 2-3 jalapeños, thinly sliced
  • 200g crispy fried onions

Preparation

  1. Slice the tomato, pickles, and jalapeños into thin slices.
  2. Slice the onion into rings and set aside.
  3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the bacon slices until crispy, then drain on a paper towel.
  5. In the same pan, sauté the onion rings until soft and golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  6. Heat another pan and cook the hamburger patties for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  7. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to let it melt.
  8. Slice the hamburger buns in half and lightly toast them in a pan or under the grill until golden brown.
  9. Place a handful of lettuce on the bottom half of the bun.
  10. Add the sliced tomato and pickles on top of the lettuce.
  11. Place the cheesy burger patty on top.
  12. Add a slice of crispy bacon, the caramelized onions, and sliced jalapeños.
  13. Sprinkle with crispy fried onions for extra crunch.
  14. Finish by placing the top bun on the burger.
