Sushi

The best sushi is the one you make yourself!

The tastiest sushi is homemade and, of course, topped with crispy fried onions.

Ingredients

  • 300 grams of sushi rice
  • 4 sushi nori sheets
  • 200 grams of salmon
  • 1 cucumber
  • Fried onions
  • Optional: bamboo rolling mat

Preparation

  1. Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions.
  2. Cut the cucumber and salmon into strips.
  3. Lay your bamboo mat flat and place a nori sheet on top.
  4. Divide the cooked rice into four portions. Take one portion and spread it evenly over the nori sheet, leaving about 1 cm free at the top and bottom.
  5. Flip the nori sheet so that the rice is on the outside.
  6. Place the salmon and cucumber strips in the center of the nori sheet.
  7. Sprinkle half of the fried onions on top.
  8. Carefully roll up the sushi using the bamboo mat, ensuring the filling is tightly enclosed.
  9. Spread the remaining fried onions on a flat surface and roll the sushi through them, pressing firmly.
  10. Cut the sushi roll into 8 pieces using a sharp knife.
  11. Repeat this process with the other 3 nori sheets.

Taste and enjoy!
