Sushi
The best sushi is the one you make yourself!
The tastiest sushi is homemade and, of course, topped with crispy fried onions.
Ingredients
- 300 grams of sushi rice
- 4 sushi nori sheets
- 200 grams of salmon
- 1 cucumber
- Fried onions
- Optional: bamboo rolling mat
Preparation
- Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions.
- Cut the cucumber and salmon into strips.
- Lay your bamboo mat flat and place a nori sheet on top.
- Divide the cooked rice into four portions. Take one portion and spread it evenly over the nori sheet, leaving about 1 cm free at the top and bottom.
- Flip the nori sheet so that the rice is on the outside.
- Place the salmon and cucumber strips in the center of the nori sheet.
- Sprinkle half of the fried onions on top.
- Carefully roll up the sushi using the bamboo mat, ensuring the filling is tightly enclosed.
- Spread the remaining fried onions on a flat surface and roll the sushi through them, pressing firmly.
- Cut the sushi roll into 8 pieces using a sharp knife.
- Repeat this process with the other 3 nori sheets.
Taste and enjoy!
